Samson & Daniel Alleycat Love Story
My dear Murray was put down on December 27, 2022, right after Christmas. He had cancer and stopped eating and drinking. He was 11 years old.
The house was empty and lonely since I only keep one cat.
So, I started searching for a new companion at local shelters, but I had no luck. I didn’t find another boy until we expanded the search on Petfinder. Yes, we met on the internet.
That’s when Samson (née Ollie) and I met because Alleycats had listed him on Petfinder.
We live in Belle Vernon, PA, about a three-hour drive from Alleycats.
I completed the adoption application that evening because I fell in love with him. Alleycats called me the next morning, and I picked up Samson the next day. :}
All my boy cats were wonderful, but Samson is the best by far. He was so well-mannered even as a kitten.
And he’s so smart! Alleycats still keeps in contact with me via email and texts. My Samson and I love each other and feel so blessed that God united us!
If I outlive him, I will definitely make the trip back to Alleycats.
