Witches & Whiskers 5K event!

Come join us for the cat-themed fun on Saturday, October 28 2023 for our Witches & Whiskers 5K event!

Proceeds from the 5K will help to raise funds to allow us to continue to carry out our mission 🐾 These funds raised are essential for providing shelter, medical care, and a chance at a better life for so many cats across Northeast Ohio that come into our care 🖤🐈‍⬛

The 5k will be a timed race. As a person crosses the finish line, their time will be recorded. If running is not your thing no worries! The 1 mile walk will start a few moments after the 5K, to avoid traffic on the trails. The 1 mile walk will not be timed. Walkers – please be mindful of 5K runners in the case that there is some overlap, due to the timed nature of their race 😊

There will be orange cones with mile markers placed along the 5K trail, as well as signs along the 1 mile walk trail. Both the 5K and 1 mile walk begin and end at the same location, and will end near the pavilion.

Water and snacks will be provided at the end of the race!

The costume contest will begin after the conclusion of the 5K and 1 mile walk.

Awards ceremonies will take place in the pavilion at the conclusion of the 5K, 1 mile walk, and costume contest!

Prizes will be awarded for the winners of each age division of the 5K 🏅

Prizes will also be awarded for the winners of the costume contest! We are looking forward to seeing everyone strut their stuff on the “catwalk” and see them in their best cat costume! 🐾😸 Registration fees are $30.

Please register by Sunday, October 22nd to be guaranteed a shirt.
