Maple and Bacon: A Perfect Pair
I adopted Maple(AKA Joan Jett) and Bacon(AKA Toto) in February 2024. They are just amazing cats.
Day one Maple acted like she had been here forever. I have never had a cat so sociable and content immediately. She is so sassy, loving, and the boss. She is so much fun. Bacon it took him a little longer. He got down in our basement the first week and would not come out. I then heard a meowing coming from the basement and every day he started to come up more, and then after two days, we had him upstairs.
He makes us laugh so much. He loves to play and run through the house, and he has also trained us to get a piece of turkey nightly. He will actually sit in the doorway and motion us to come to the fridge.
They have such different personalities, but they complement each other. We just love them.
